Monetary Contributions to Donate Life California
We appreciate your interest in contributing to our efforts to help save lives through organ and tissue donation. Donate Life California, a state-authorized, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, is dedicated to saving the lives of thousands of Californians awaiting life-saving transplants. Your monetary donations are tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. There are many ways individuals can help support organ donation.

Tributes and Memorials
A donation to Donate Life California can be the perfect way to commemorate transplant anniversaries, birthdays, anniversaries, births, weddings, showers or to remember a recently deceased friend or relative. A Donate Life card will be sent to the person being honored or to the family of the memorial recipient.

In Lieu of Flowers
All funds donated in memory of your loved one will be designated to raise awareness about the critical, lifesaving need for organ and tissue donation. All donations will be acknowledged with a personal letter. We also will provide a list of the people who made gifts.

Donate Life Run/Walk
On Saturday, April 26th, 2008, the Donate Life community comes together to celebrate together. Runners, walkers, dialysis patients, transplant recipients, organ donors, donor families, allied health professionals and students are invited to participate! Donate Life Day at Salt Creek Grille Restaurants
Salt Creek Grille will be hosting a Donate Life Day on Sunday, April 27th where 10% of the proceeds will be donated to help Team SoCal go for the gold at the 2008 U.S. Transplant Games. Great food for a great cause. Salt Creek Grille restaurants in Dana Point, El Segundo and Valencia.

Donate Life Action Day 2008
With a full day of public education and awareness Donate Life California joins together with legislators, DMV, organ and tissue donor families, transplant recipients and allied health professionals who facilitate organ donation celebrate the 3 millionth registrant while at the same time declaring April as DMV/Donate Life California month on the steps of the State Capitol. Matching Gifts
Donate Life California is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Because of this, many companies match their employees' contributions. Matching gift programs offer an excellent way for you and your company to work together to save lives. Some companies also match gifts from corporate officers and directors, retired employees, spouses and widows/widowers. Ask your Human Resources department if your company will match your contribution.

United Way
The United Way allows participants to specify a charity on the donation form. Check with your local United Way for their policy. You will need to specify Donate Life California, EIN 20-2349106.
