ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
ABC’s "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is working on a powerful story. The Hill family of Suffield (CT) was notified on June 21 that they were selected to have their home made over. The Hills are a family of very modest means who agreed to take in six children from a relative, as she was unable to care for them any longer. This family, now totaling 13, is living in a small, rundown house and having difficulty making ends meet. One of the girls taken in by the Hills was in need of a kidney transplant and one of the Hill’s children was her living donor. The producers of the show have made a “bold request” – help in obtaining as many donor registrations THIS WEEK (till June 28 at noon) as possible, in support of the Hill family. At the “reveal” at the end of the show, Ty would like to be able to tell the Hill family that because of their story, “X” number of Americans were inspired to register as donors in just this week alone. Please, register today and show your support for this family and those waiting for a transplant.
